About PPCC (Peruvian Paso Champagne Club) | home
The club, a subset of the Peruvian Horse Club of BC, was officially formed in 2000. Prior to that, some of the original club members had put on demonstrations and participated in parades, when requested, to promote the breed. These were FUN for both the riders and the horses. Finally, a team was formed, a drill pattern was developed, Peruvian music was chosen, and Claire Vessey, CEF Level 1 English Coach, volunteered to be our coach and riding instructor.
The team meets regularly throughout the year to practice and ride together. Usually, the team practices at Beaver Lake Riding Ring, Victoria, BC. If interested in watching a practice, please call Claire Vessey at (250) 391-1790 or email@example.com to find out the next date and time. We love to have an audience at our practice! The 2002 team members are Daphne Panter, Terry Wallbridge, Joyce Wallbridge, Terry Dodds, Joe Taylor, Marian Taylor and Ann Chandler.
If you wish to watch a performance or parade, check out our 2002 Events section on this website. We exhibit our Peruvian Paso horses in traditional Spanish-style tack and the riders honour tradition by wearing whites and ponchos. The end of the musical ride is highlighted by the riders carrying filled champagne glasses while gaiting around the ring. Look at the Gallery section of our website to see us in action. The photographs were taken by our official photographer, Daphne Daniel.
If your group is interested in having us perform at one of your shows or special events, please contact Claire Vessey at (250) 391-1790 or firstname.lastname@example.org to determine the teamís availability.
